WENDY MARKS: What I think it does for the RIT community is elevates all of us in a way that we all feel like we are creators, creative people, creative thinkers, um, and problem solvers, and makes us all stand a little taller. And basically it's evidence of what we already understood RIT was all about. WENDY MARKS: My name is Wendy Marks, and I'm director of University Gallery and ShopOne at RIT. I've been over to the SHED multiple times, and each time I walk in the space, I am amazed at the sense of. um, light, open spaces, um, creative spaces, and ways that–Things that you know that are happening at RIT, but never were, uh, clearly, uh, had any evidence of. Unless you were lucky enough to be able to get into some of the studios or labs. WENDY MARKS: What I think it does for the RIT community is elevates all of us in a way that we all feel like we are creators, creative people, creative thinkers, um, and problem solvers, and makes us all stand a little taller. And basically it's evidence of what we already understood RIT was all about. But, this gives us a place to come anytime to reboot, and renew, and reengage, and move forward.
